Situated in Beverungen in the Weserbergland, our company began specializing in the production and laying of high-quality parquetry panels many years ago.Some years ago Fagus began to install high-quality solid wood flooring in historical buildings, including stately homes, abbeys and manor houses. In such buildings one is often confronted with parquetry panel flooring which is mostly three-layered, complicated and costly to join, or which is available on the market in poor quality only.
This induced us to develop a joining technique of our own. With this technique, we can manufacture solid wood parquetry panels, which have all the advantages of historical flooring, in our own workshop. Thanks to the patented Fagus process, we are in a position to lay parquetry floors using our own pre-fabricated panels.
At Fagus, flooring is made of carefully selected old timbers, which have been stored for many years, whereby the panels display a truly unique structure. Especially beautiful and interesting effects are achieved by combining various timbers or by smoking wood containing tannic acid.
In respect of patterns and designs of the panels, there is a wide range of possibilities: from classic bonds to individual designs of plain and modern appearance. This enables us to meet your very special wishes.
